A very good acoustic song with only one instrument with chords!

Über die Jahre hin traumen die Träume immer noch…

image

On the long way home journey with a friend from work, we suddenly hit into a thinking about what keeps people alive. Food? That’s too biological. Money? That’s too technical. Passions, desires, love…and all seem too cliché. There’s too many reasonable things. but one that is logical is that we should give credits to the “unanswered” prayers and wishes that did not come true, as those keep us hope and hopes keep us dream.

Lass die Träume in den Träumen.

Dream, dream, and dream! That’s what people shout out loudly these days. The passionate young people are excited, but they are as well confused with how to live their dreams. They explore their talents, skills, and try to match them up with their passions, jobs or other things they do for living. But then it becomes a too much hard work, and then just a few of them survived.

Versuche zu schlafen denn! Go to sleep!

I learned that - for me - trying to “live” the dreams is not only about the big efforts, but also the ability to rest, relax, and just be patient in doing some small not important things and not lose the faith no matter how low it might drop down. I think sometimes that it is a bit surreal, it’s 100% real with an extra need of revisualizing…and what in the world is this!

My flood has started to come, and I thank God that I had the idea to use the pieces of ugly stones thrown at me to build a levee, starting it as a reservoir when I was drowned under. Now I see a big generator that will be a source for other things outside. And with my ears of faith, I hear somebody says, “Du bist ein guter Mann! Du hast das Wenige zuverlässig verwaltet, ich will dir viel anvertrauen.”

Nun ist Photochitect eine Firma, Baby!

…ziemlich ist.

Welcoming 2013!

I never thought I would travel to many places in 2012. I mean, I never thought I could do it! If I counted the total places, it would be a long list that I didn’t expect. How grateful I am to know that not everything is doable, but many things are possible.

2013, I welcome thee! No more I say that the sun - on the pic - sets at Santolo Beach. It is Samudera Hindia! I’ve got a bigger vision, baby!

Betten, Gibeto, and Hitomi - Smile & Feels Like Love (Yang Muda di Taman Lansia)

Whatsapp was down, facebook worked so slow, and texting didn’t do really well. My not-really-smart-phone is getting old, but the mp3 recorder still works awesomely! Indoor or outdoor, chez moi or at Taman Lansia (haha!), it doesn’t sound bad for an old buddy.

In a holiday mood - Frohe Weihnachten!

Gotta say that this is an awesome shot!

Just participated in a photography workshop past weekend and in an instant I thought that it’s time to upgrade my camera body and add more lens.
Mari menabuuung….

photojojo:

Street photography can be scary, but it’s not just that. People tend to not be so candid when you point a lens straight at them.
The Super-Secret Spy Lens totally fixes that! It uses the magic of mirrors to shoot photos from a perpendicular angle.
So, you can point your lens ahead and actually be taking a photo of someone standing next to you!

Here’s a fantastic short doc that asks the question “In the age of Instagram, what sets a professional photographer apart?”

It was shot by our pal Andy Newman and features two stellar photographers, Andria Lindquist and Cory Staudacher (@withhearts on Instagram).

Portrait - A Documentary About Instagrammers in the Photo World

After a while… Not a perfect one. In fact, it was when I almost lost my voice. Old android still rocks.
