how does it sound?

July 6, 2011 (Phi-phi Island Trip)

We were expecting just a normal van to pick us up to Phi-phi trip, but we got a luxurious Toyota! Hurray! When we’re already on board, we just knew that it was an exclusive trip with other people from other hotels. Note: they’re from hotels and we’re from a hostel.

So we had a society gap, especially in dealing with a family with zero behavior. Nah, it’s not a good thing to tell. We still had many more things to enjoy anyway.

Overall, Phra Nang still won, but we got an experience in being drawn by the ocean wave. I meant to swim but the wave was strong and my position remained the same no matter how hard I tried to move forward. At the same time, the boat was getting farther. A life guard offered a hand and I didn’t think twice for it. I think I need more swimming pool experience before the wavy sea. Hehe.

Phi-phi or Maya Bay was nice, but touristy. Our rest was in Khai Island on top of the private and shaded rock we found. The island was so small and all were covered by beach chairs to rent. We were so happy finding that rock, including some part of the shallow sea in front of it. Lovely! Here we found a snake family and we played with the little-stream-but-strong on the beach just for making pictures. That’s pretty scary though.

We’re back to the hostel in the early evening. We cleaned ourselves and out for dinner. After some water activities, we got hungrier than usual. And there was a night market. So beside the main course, we also had many kinds of food from the market, and durian! We also bought Thai’s red eggs for breakfast in the next morning. Closing? Another glasses of Chang from free vouchers because we stayed at the hostel. Cheers!
