Two of us studied architecture, and the other one is about to get married with an architect. Of course, we would like a place like IKEA. There’re 2 stores in Singapore, but I brought my fellows to the biggest one, also the farthest one. It was a sacrifice to go there, but we enjoyed the place. Shopping there was not our main priority, but we got some inspirations from there. Looking for all the furniture one by one would be timeless, so when our hunger called, we ended the sightseeing and found a table for meal. The food there was good and not that pricey. As a matter of fact, there we found the cheapest coffee in Singapore. It’s only 50 cents and refillable. I had no idea if there’s cheaper price somewhere, but that’s already cool for us.
Next, we’re heading to the Flyer because that’s a mandatory request from Ejin’s mom. She gave her money for her and me, so I took that as an advantage to add some pictures on my cam. The price was not that good and Tika chose to save her penny and wait for us. But when Ejin and I were finished, we couldn’t find her. We only found a tantalizing Gelatin stall which made us trade 7 dollars for two flavors of ice cream. After the ice cream was done, we looked up for Tika again, and finally I could make a phone call to her and problem’s solved.
It was almost dinner time. Ejin and I were not really hungry but we knew that Tika was. So we stopped by the Dhoby Ghout MRT on the way home and looked for a food court at the mall above. That time, I saw Pepper Lunch was so tempting, but the gelatin already mugged me. So, I changed my view to a cheap wan tan mee for 3.5 dollars. Not bad.
The night was not over yet, especially for me and Ejin. We did go straight home after dinner and Tika did her night ritual before bed, but Ejin and I waited for another hour to go to Brewerkz. It’s pretty clear from the name about what kind of place is that. Hehe. Later Tika said that time she sent me a message (to my inactive number), telling us not to go back home late. Hahaha… so funny! We didn’t go out that long though. Maybe it’s about an hour and some other minutes. We’re hungry that night and already had sights of the free toast at the hostel. Thank God, the dining room was not used so we could sleep in full stomach.
